We are situated in an elegant local sandstone building with deep shady verandahs and stylish vintage interior. The sweeping driveway gives a special sense of arrival. You will proceed along a broad stone walkway, through the verdant lawns and up the classical wide entrance stairway.

From the verandahs your guests can enjoy a champagne celebration whilst overlooking manicured gardens and whimsical features of interest. Throughout the shady gardens there are many photo opportunitites around the waterfalls, natural rock pools, stone formations, statues and sculpures.

Our tropical verandahs allow for promotional events and launches with a difference . We can customise and plan menus to suit your occasion, conference, convention, meeting or special event in this unique and relaxed setting.

Finlays joint caters for groups as small as 50 and up to 120 guests.

Venue Hire

Finlays joint has a venue hire cost of $1800 plus gst. This includes the fee paid to the stonemasonry for use of the garden setting as a ceremonial venue or for photographs. Please enquire regarding hire if the gardens are not required for your event. Your special function hire will include:

• • Private and exclusive use of Finlays Joint for five hours from arrival (no later than 12pm)
  • Secure and close proximity parking
  • Use of house PA system
  • In situ wooden dance floor
  • Rose stone esky on verandah can be filled with iced drinks from beverage package for your guests to enjoy the sunset.
  • Verandahs have fans, fairy lights and good access
  • Private bar facilities

Extra touches

With consultation we can place your personalised decorations if desired. Unfortunately glitter, confetti and scatters are not acceptable in the building . Smoking is ok on the verandahs only and ashtrays are provided.

Deposit /Payment details

Two weeks after initial reservation a deposit of $500 is required for your event date to be secured.Final guest numbers to be confirmed and payment balance is required one month prior to your event date. Credit cards will have a 2% surcharge. We understand that circumstances can lead to guest numbers fluctuating and we will endeavour to accomodate minimal variations.

A 30 day notification will be required if circumstances require cancellation and if we are unable to rebook a function finlays joint will require a cancellation fee.We make every effort to maintain current pricing however prices can be subject to some variation.

As your caterers we are not responsible for damage or loss of personal effects and any malicious injury arising from an event. In the unfortunate instance where avoidable damage occurs to finlays joint the event organiser will be responsible.

All the gardens, water features, figurines and sculptures are not available after sunset for safety reasons and as such are off limits at dark.

To feel relaxed and confident that your guests dining experience will be pleasurable, please visit our café during our daily trading hours of 8am till 4pm (kitchen closes at 3pm). Sample our chef nudchis, standard menu and experience her consistently high quality food.
